HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN ON-LOCATION PET SHOOT?

WHAT DOES AN ON-LOCATION SESSION COST AND WHAT DO I GET?
A Session costs £55.00
and the price includes:
• A 60 – 90 minute session
• A selection of the best images will be available to view in your own private on-line gallery with additional purchasing options for larger prints/canvases, etc
• 5 professionally retouched digital images suitable for Social Media
• A 10 x 8 inch Print
HOW DO I PAY?
Your session fee is collected in full at the time you book your appointment
HOW DO I ORDER A GIFT VOUCHER?
If you are ordering a Gift Voucher through our web site, just contact us by phone, email, or using our on-line contact form (quoting “Mutt Shots Voucher”). Once paid for, your gift voucher will be sent to you by email for you to print out. The Gift Voucher is valid for 12 months from the issue date. We are currently working at setting up an on-line shopping facility to buy vouchers direct from the site!
HOW DO YOUR SESSIONS WORK?
We agree a location, time and date either over the phone or email, and discuss what kind of images you are after and what your dog is like.
PREPARING FOR THE SESSION
Although not essential, it would be great if you could groom your dog a day or so before the shoot – even a bath or brush out will work. If you have a young or highly energetic dog we suggest you take it for a walk before you arrive for your session. This way your dog will be more relaxed during our time together.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SESSION?
After the photography session has finished, we will spend some time doing basic editing of the best images, put these in your Private Gallery and send you the password to access them on our web site. There you can choose either your five favourite digital images or your 10 x 8 print and we will do any further retouching as necessary. You will also have the opportunity to order further prints and/or canvases (don’t worry, there is no obligation at all to do so). The Private Gallery will be available for viewing for two months from the date you receive your password.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE PRODUCTS?
We will try and work through the images and prepare basic editing of chosen images for your Private Gallery within 48 hours. Once you have chosen your 5 favourite images, these should be ready to send through within one week of us getting your selection. If you are ordering a 10 x 8 inch Print, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. If ordering any other products, we will advise on expected timings for delivery once we know what you are ordering.
CAN I ORDER ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS AFTER MY SESSION?
Yes! Although your Private Gallery will only be available for viewing for two months following the issuing of your password, the images will be saved on file for one year from the date of your photography session, and any portraits or custom photography products can be ordered from us during that time. After one year we will remove all images from the session.
WHAT IF MY PET WON’T SIT STILL FOR PORTRAITS?
Don’t worry, Ian has the patience to outlast any personality of dog that might seem impossible to photograph, and also has a good sense of humour. We aim to make the shoot both fun and stress free, for you, your dog and our photographer!
IS THERE A CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?
If the shoot location is within 15 miles of North Ferriby, there is no fee. If you are more than 15 miles from North Ferriby, we will charge a travelling fee depending on the distance. This will be at a cost of 50p per additional mile.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS UNSUITABLE ON THE DAY?
We will keep an eye on the weather forecast and if the weather is deemed too bad to shoot in, then don’t worry, we will arrange a new, mutually agreeable date and time at no extra cost.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Unfortunately sessions are non-refundable, but if you cannot make it for any reason and wish to give your booking to a family member or friend with a pet, then that is fine. We will require at least 48 hours’ notice though. The new pet owner must also agree to be bound by our T&C’s in order for us to transfer the session.
